AI shot lists from a brief

Give Plurum the client's brief, and it lays out the pictures, clips and copy the brief asks for, in the brief's own order, each with the line it came from.

What you get

FIG 0.1.1

The brief, read.

Paste or attach it as the first message, and the list appears beside the conversation.

FIG 0.1.2

Three kinds in one list.

Images, video shots and copy, where the brief asks for copy.

FIG 0.1.3

The line each row came from.

Every row quotes the brief. A row the brief did not ask for, and a format it did not name, are each marked.

FIG 0.1.4

Change it by talking or by hand.

Tell it what to change, or edit a row yourself. A change made by talking can be undone.

FIG 0.1.5

One estimate.

Select the rows to run, and the spend is shown once, beside the button.

The example: an autumn weekend at a country hotel

Fernway Hotels is a fictional hotel group in Plurum's demo studio. Its brief for an autumn campaign asked for six stills, one short clip and one email to past guests, and said the guests should be backs and hands, never faces.

WHAT CAME BACK
A list of eight: six image rows, one video shot and one written email, in the brief's order. Each row quotes its line, such as "mist on the lawn at dawn, seen from a bedroom window (landscape, wide)". The brief named a format for that one still; the other five are marked as formats Plurum chose.
WHAT WAS MADE
Four of the six stills, from their rows. The clip waits in the list for the shot builder, and the email is written in the list as its own card.

Four stills from the autumn list: the lawn at dawn, the fire in the snug, the long table, the kitchen garden in the rain.

WHAT IT COST
Reading the brief, which also wrote the email, was one writing call at $0.018, on 29 August 2026. Each still was one 1K image at $0.0672 (rate as of 4 August 2026).

We made the four stills through the assistant on the demo; Run selected on the list does the same by hand.

How it works

01

Open Shotlists and press New shotlist.

Choose the client, and the product if there is one.

02

Give it the brief.

Paste the text or attach the file as the first message. Reading it is a paid writing call, and the list appears beside the conversation.

03

Check the rows.

Each one quotes the brief. Set the format, size and model for the whole list at the top; a row you change yourself keeps its own.

04

Change what you need.

Tell the conversation, or edit a row by hand. Undo takes back a whole change, and leaves alone any row already made.

05

Select rows and press Run selected.

One dialog names the rows and shows the estimate beside the button. A video shot goes to the shot builder instead, where the clip is priced.

What it does not do

FIG 0.5.1

It does not decide the list is right.

Each row quotes the line it came from so you can check it before you spend; the list is only as good as that check.

FIG 0.5.2

It reads the brief.

It searches the web only when you switch that on for a turn, and only where your writing model can.

FIG 0.5.3

Nothing is selected when you open it.

Nothing runs until you choose the rows.

FIG 0.5.4

Copy only where the brief asks.

A brief about pictures does not come back with an email.

FIG 0.5.5

Shotlists are on the paid plans.

Business, Studio and Team; not on Free.

It is for Mac.

Questions people ask

Can AI turn a client brief into a shot list?

In Plurum, yes. Give it the brief as the first message, and the list appears with each row quoting the line it came from.

Can I change the list without starting again?

Yes. Tell it what to change or edit a row yourself, and undo any change you made by talking.

Does it write copy too?

Where the brief asks for it, such as an email or a social post, it lands in the list as its own card.

What does it cost?

Reading the brief is one writing call, and each image or clip is priced as usual; the run shows one estimate first. On the demo, reading an eight-item brief cost $0.018, on 29 August 2026.

What if the brief is a PDF?

Attach it as the first message.
